🎙️ May Wang on CityClips Live Ep. 105.

  • Julia had the pleasure of featuring May Wang, Student Engagement Program Coordinator at FSU - Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship. | CityClips Live Ep. 105

  • May Wang leads programs like the JMC Incubator and InNOLEvation® Challenge, supporting student entrepreneurship and innovation. Before joining FSU, she built an international career in business development, helping launch Live Nation in Asia and co-founding a $15M venture. She brings a global perspective to fostering entrepreneurial mindsets at JMC.

  • ❤️ Here are the takeaways of her interview with Julia:

    • May Wang emphasized that entrepreneurship can be challenging, but a supportive community helps people overcome obstacles. Mentorship, peer networks, and hands-on opportunities give aspiring entrepreneurs the skills and confidence to grow personally and strengthen the wider ecosystem.

    • She noted that most entrepreneurship programs are small units within business schools, making FSU-JMC unique as the nation’s first standalone college dedicated solely to entrepreneurship.

    • She shared that entrepreneurship can feel lonely, but entrepreneurs are not alone. A strong support community offers guidance and encouragement through challenges. She also noted that there is no failure–only success and learning–highlighting the value of resilience, shared growth, and mutual support.
