Post-Idalia & Ways to Help 🤝

Tallahassee dodged another bullet and Idalia made its historical landfall on Keaton Beach, which directly impacted Perry, Florida and nearby areas. Despite being further away from the center, some had huge trees fall in their yards including at the Governor’s mansion (as seen above). To get an idea of what we avoided, here’s an aftermath compilation video by CBS. Tamaryn Waters also captured the aftermath through the lense of Miller’s Tree Service.

Scientists like to debunk the Urban Myth of the Mag Lab’s fields influence on hurricanes weakeneing or diverted away from Tallahassee. Given that Hurricanes Michael and Idalia were headed towards us, then making a last minute turn causes some to think there could be some credibility to it. What do you think?
