Harvest Wine & Food Festival, produced by Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation, is hosted in WaterColor each October with four days of epicurean excellence that is sure to delight both wine and culinary enthusiasts alike.
Rated as one of the premier wine and food festivals in the Southeast, Harvest provides patrons the opportunity to sip and savor some of the world’s finest wine and culinary selections. This year's festival will feature wine dinners, the famous Grand Tasting, Harvest After Dark, and a carefully curated line-up of intimate wine and cocktail experiences while raising money for a good cause.
Their mission is to help children in need across NW Florida. Now in its 20th year, the foundation has donated over $35M to 17 local children’s charities.

Tallahassee's Cook Out first location, in the former Hardee's on 1942 N. Monroe St., is slated for a soft opening on Oct. 14th, according to a representative from construction service agency MLB Construction Services, LLC.
Signage is now up, marking the building as a go-to destination for classic Southern fast food. Known for its massive menu, Cook Out serves burgers, BBQ, hot dogs, chicken, and over 40+ milkshake flavors. With more than 300 locations, the fast food chain is famous for its signature Cook Out Tray—offering unbeatable flavor and value.
In 2022, Cook Out held a public poll on Twitter to decide its next location, and Tallahassee narrowly came out on top with around 46.3% of the vote.
