Shining Bright. Our CEO, Julia Holly, is currently attending the CES Tech Conference in Las Vegas and she’s met amazing Florida based tech companies including women-owned businesses. Now cue the song “Shine Bright Like a Diamond”—because this issue is all about brilliance. We’re diving into the roadmap to leadership, legacy, and the celebration of womenpreneurs locally and nationally. Chamber Past Chair Karen Moore, Founder & CEO of The Moore Agency, was recently honored for her prestigious recognition. Plus, the results are in from the SHINE! competition at eMerge Americas, where six women founders took the stage. And keeping that shine going, CityClips is having its own moment tomorrow at Domi—come celebrate with us at our milestone event and exclusive after-party for CityClips insiders only.

👩🏻🏆 6 Women Founders Pitched at eMerge Americas’ SHINE! Competition | Refresh Miami

  • Last December 17, Miami’s tech community gathered at The LAB Miami for the eMerge Americas SHINE! Pitch Competition, part of the organization’s year-round eMpower Series supporting underrepresented founders. Six women-led startups delivered compelling pitches before a panel of judges, investors, and community members—each showcasing innovative solutions built to solve real market challenges.

  • The evening spotlighted a diverse array of women entrepreneurs and their startups:

    • Nathalya Ramirez, CEO of Junie

    • Rose De Sicilia, Co-founder & CTO of Indrasy

    • Joyce Medeiros, CEO of Investrio

    • Rabia Malik, Founder of JennA Bytes

    • Catherine Karow, Founder & CEO of ZoraSafe

🤩 And the Winner Is. After thoughtful deliberation, Investrio took home the top prize—a $3,500 micro-grant and a fast-track spot into the eMerge Americas Global Startup Accelerator + Showcase.
