Since opening its first location in 1993, the café franchise has grown into a leader in the breakfast and brunch scene nationwide. The Flying Biscuit Café Village Commons had its grand opening on Jan. 12, and they’re celebrating with two weeks of Grand Opening specials until Sunday, Jan. 25.

The Brisket Shoppe is a Tampa BBQ restaurant known for its Wagyu “Dino Rib” and Tampeño-style barbecue, blending Central Texas techniques with Cuban flavors. Owned by Hernandez, the menu features Akaushi Wagyu brisket smoked over Florida oak, along with items like guava-glazed pork belly and brisket pastries. Its focus on quality earned it a spot on the Tampa Bay Times Top 50 Restaurants for 2025.
