Patricia Bates Trotta, President of Big Bend Rebar, Inc., has been named the 2025 Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) of the Year, celebrating her two decades of leadership and impact.
Founded in 2002 in Quincy, Big Bend Rebar grew from a home-based plan into a 14,000 sq. ft. rebar manufacturing plant, serving contractors across Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
A graduate of the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship, Trotta has guided the company through inflation, competition, and the pandemic–cementing her reputation as a resilient and visionary leader.
