🎉 Big Wins. Buc-ee’s is moving forward with the next step—submitting a detailed site plan to the county after purchasing the land. Local officials anticipate a significant economic boost once the Tallahassee location opens. Meanwhile, Florida’s statewide Advanced Air Mobility network has been approved, aiming to enhance travel, tourism, and emergency response through faster, more flexible alternatives to road and traditional air travel. These initiatives are paving the way for economic growth and cutting-edge mobility solutions. We’re also excited to share that JH Creative, our branding partner, was re-certified by the Office of Economic Vitality as a Minority and Small Business Enterprise for the next year. We love supporting women-owned businesses.

🤩 Mega Buc-ee’s Planned for Tallahassee | Tal Dem

  • Buc-ee’s has purchased 30+ acres of land in Tallahassee. The proposed facility is on the southeast corner of the Park Place PUD at I-10 & Capital Circle NW.

  • The plan for the site: a massive 75,000 sq. ft. travel center + convenience store, with about 120 fueling stations, 795 regular parking spaces, 24 electric-vehicle (EV) parking spots, and special parking for buses/RVs.

  • The project is expected to create roughly 200 full-time jobs, with entry-level wages starting at $16/hour and rising to $32/hour. Managerial salaries could reach $100,000 annually.

  • Local officials see this as a major economic boost for the area—possibly attracting further commercial and residential development near the site. 👏

  • The land purchase is complete. The next step is the submission of a detailed site plan to the county. Groundbreaking is expected in Q1 2026, with a tentative opening in mid-2027—assuming everything proceeds as planned.

🚁 Florida Is Positioned To Become a Global Leader in Advanced Air Mobility | Florida DOT

  • Florida DOT (FDOT) has unveiled a statewide Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) plan, proposing low-altitude aerial corridors for electric aircraft connecting major cities, starting with Tampa, Orlando, and the Space Coast.

  • SunTrax will serve as the state’s AAM headquarters, expanding its role to include testing, operations, workforce training, cybersecurity research, and airspace integration for electric aircraft.

  • FDOT expects AAM to support business travel, tourism, disaster response, and rapid mobility, offering faster travel than roadways and more flexible options than conventional aviation.

  • If successful, Florida could become the first state with AAM-dedicated flight corridors, aiming for statewide scale by 2050, supporting millions of passenger trips and high-value freight transport annually.

  • Early investment is designed to attract private operators, accelerate industry growth, and position Florida as a national leader in electric aviation. 📈

Some of the top reviews from the Tennessee St. location:

"Roboto's will always be my favorite meal to have after a long day of work, I love getting the hibachi chicken, with brown rice, and vegetables! Highly recommend!" – Andrew G.

"The service was spectacular. Jahdin at the register was very cool, funny, and heartwarming; he should honestly be rewarded for his customer service which has been the best I have ever received. Then the food was great as always. It is never a bad time to go to Robotos." – Royal S.

"Robotos is one of my favorite "fast food" places. There isn't really anything like it for that price in Tallahassee. It stands on its own as far as that. Their spicy chicken hibachi is my go-to dish. They give you a lot for what you pay for it, and it tastes fresh. The spicy is SPICY, so if you're not good with spicy food, do the regular chicken hibachi. That one is just as good. My husband loves the steak hibachi and their spring rolls." – Megan N.
