🏃♂️ UF Launches Center for Human Performance | UF News
University of Florida’s new Center for Engineering Human Performance and Wellness uses wearable sensors, robotics, and AI to study and improve movement, recovery, and performance for athletes, older adults, and everyday users.
Projects include real-time health tracking, exoskeletons, neuroengineering, and biomechanics to enhance performance, prevent injuries, and support independent living.
The center unites experts from engineering and health disciplines, building on UF’s wearable tech initiatives and athletic data research. 🔎
Beyond research: Students and industry partners will benefit through seminars, training programs, and hands-on collaboration, preparing UF to lead the future of human performance.

She Academy Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Tallahassee that empowers teen girls through mentorship, life skills development, and supportive sisterhood programs. Founded in 2019, its mission is to help girls in grades 6–12 build confidence, emotional intelligence, leadership abilities, and healthy relationships as they transition into young adulthood. She Academy creates safe spaces where participants gain real-world tools, personal growth opportunities, and lasting community support.
