💯 The No. 3 Seminoles (FSU’s Women’s Soccer team) kicked off the 2025 season with a commanding 5-0 shutout victory. | Seminoles
With the five-goal win, the Seminoles (1-0-0) tied their largest win in the series against the UF Gators (0-1-0), along with a 5-0 road win in 2022.
The Seminoles have now claimed their 8th straight win against the Gators, outscoring them 24-3 over that span, marking the longest streak in the rivalry since its inception in 1995. Florida State improves to 18-13-0 in the all-time series with clean sheets in four consecutive games and 6 of the last 8.
FSU had 19 shots, five on goal, in the second half, while UF had five shots, three on target, in the final 45 minutes. Both teams earned four corner kicks. 🥅
Player Highlights:
Heather Gilchrist (Sr. Defender) scored her first career brace with two headers.
Enasia Colon (Sr. Midfielder/Forward) shone in her debut with two assists.
Wrianna Hudson (Sophomore Forward) netted her 10th career goal before halftime.
Yuna McCormack (Jr. Midfielder) scored in her first game, set up by Suarez and Riley.
Peyton Nourse (Sophomore Midfielder) added the fifth goal on a rebound.
