From historic weddings on its grounds to annual Valentineâs events, Goodwood Museum & Gardens has long been a place where love blossoms, bringing couples together.Â
đŚ Goodwoodâs colorful macaws have been a part of its charm for decades, their vibrant presence adding tropical flair and plenty of character to the gardens. In 1986, Phil Adams and Lee Modica found connection and companionship while surrounded by these majestic birdsâa beautiful start to a lasting relationship. Now married for 36 years, theyâve proven that, just like the macaws known for strong, lifelong bonds, their love has truly stood the test of time.
For several years, Goodwood has offered a free Valentineâs Day Group Wedding, where couples can marry under the historic oaks with community support for photos, decor, and refreshments. FYI: Tomorrow marks the 3rd annual event in partnership with the Leon County Clerk of Court.

đ 4th Annual Highland Games Brought Scottish Strength Competitions to Tally
The Highland Games, a family-friendly festival, celebrates Scottish and Celtic heritage with traditional athletic events like caber toss, stone lifting, and more, with live Celtic music, bagpipers, Highland dancers, clan tents, food, vendors, and kids' activities, held annually at Apalachee Regional Park. Their fourth event was held last weekend, Feb. 7 to 8.
The event is a long-standing tradition that brings the Tallahassee community together. With over 100 volunteers involved, the event is about more than just economic impactâit's a way for people to connect and experience something meaningful together.
