The Network of Entrepreneurs and Business Advocates (NEBA) members gathered at Capital City Country Club on Aug. 28 for a luncheon featuring Dr. Alma Littles, Dean of the FSU College of Medicine.

As Chief Academic Officer, Dr. Littles has led the college through accreditation, curriculum development, and the expansion of its distinctive community-based education model.

A faculty member since 2001, she also became the founding chair of the Department of Family Medicine and Rural Health and continues to serve as a full professor.

Attendees gained insight into how FSU is shaping the future of local healthcare through innovation and community partnerships.

WomensNet is awarding a $10,000 grant this September to a woman-owned business in the education or childcare space, whether you’re running a daycare, tutoring service, or early learning program.

With women making up over 95% of the childcare workforce and 77% of the education industry, funding support remains critical for those who dedicate their work to nurturing the decision-makers of the future.
