🐂 PBR Unleash the Beast 2026 Tallahassee | PBR
Doak Campbell Stadium usually sees touchdowns, but the dirt brought a different kind of intensity to Florida. 🔥
The world’s best bull riders showed they’re just as tough as any linebacker. They came ready to ride in Tallahassee, where the only PBR Major of 2026 raised the stakes to the highest level. 2022 World Champion Daylon Swearingen proved his grit, delivering a huge 90.85-point ride in the final round to win it all.
But the shakeup didn’t end there. With a sharp performance under the Florida night sky, John Crimber claimed the World No. 1 ranking. It was a weekend full of skill and high-energy rides at Florida State. After an intense battle under the lights, one thing was clear: a hard day’s work deserves a smooth finish.

🩷 ‘You Have to Try These!’ Ryan Gosling Hypes a Local Bakery on Late Night | Tal Dem
A longtime Tallahassee bakery got a shoutout on late-night TV when Ryan Gosling praised the “Pop-Tart”-style pastries from The Cake Shop on Capital Cir. NE, made by founder and head pastry chef Linda Richards.
Ryan Gosling appeared on Seth Meyers’ show on Mar. 18 to promote his new sci-fi/adventure film, Project Hail Mary. On the show, he noticed Donna Richards, Seth Meyers’ wardrobe supervisor and former Sat. Night Live staff member.
Gosling highlighted Donna’s sister, who owns The Cake Shop in Tallahassee famous for its Pop-Tarts. Donna gives the Pop-Tarts to guests at the start of the show.
Seth Meyers jokingly complained he’s never received any Pop-Tarts despite hosting the show for 12 years.
Linda preserves childhood home‑style recipes, creating treats for celebrations. A longtime pastry chef in Tallahassee’s gourmet community, she worked at Epicurean/Trio Restaurant and spent over 20 years at The Cake Shop, making her a staple of the local culinary scene.
After the shoutout made by Ryan, the shop was flooded with orders, according to WCTV.
