🌟 Corridor Leaders Make Forbes 50 Over 50
Forbes’ annual 50 Over 50 list shines a spotlight on women redefining what leadership and success look like later in life, and this year, four leaders with ties to The Florida High Tech Corridor made the cut:
Yvette Kanouff, UCF alum and the only woman to ever earn a Lifetime Achievement Emmy in TV engineering, now uses her expertise to guide investments at JC2 Ventures.
Carolina Cruz-Neira, UCF professor and VR pioneer, is celebrated for creating the CAVE virtual reality system and shaping an entire global industry.
Phoebe Cade Miles, Co-Founder of the Cade Museum for Creativity + Invention, was honored for inspiring future inventors and building a world-class hub for innovation.
Elaine Larsen, a two-time world champion jet dragster driver, was recognized for leading an internship program for Florida Tech students, as well as her STEM outreach programs, which have reached tens of thousands of students nationwide.
