DISTRICT 4 ADDY

Grova Creative is proud to announce that they received a Silver ADDY Award at this year's District 4 American Advertising Awards for their work with the Frenchtown Neighborhood Improvement Association (FNIA) on their rebranding.
They are honored to represent Tallahassee at the district level, especially as the only local agency to win over fierce competition from across Florida and the Caribbean. 👏
FNIA is a strong advocate for Frenchtown, working to create jobs, promote a healthier lifestyle, support entrepreneurship, and combat food insecurity. Despite economic challenges, Frenchtown's spirit is filled with history, resilience, and hope. FNIA is at the center of all this, establishing key partnerships with groups like the City of Tallahassee and the USDA to drive lasting change.
“Winning this award is more than just recognition for design—it’s a powerful reminder that creativity thrives when it serves the community. Collaborating with FNIA was about capturing the heartbeat of Frenchtown: its resilience, its hope, and its hunger for positive change. This is exactly the kind of work that fuels our passion at Grova Creative,” said Giavona Williams, Founder and Owner of Grova Creative.

BESAMPLE

🎙️ Elena Brandt on CityClips Live Ep. 85.
Last Wednesday, Julia had the pleasure of featuring Elena Brandt, the Founder and CEO of Besample. | CityClips Live Ep. 85
Besample is a new data collection platform that provides online access to thousands of pre-screened research participants in 42 countries across Africa, Asia, South America, and Europe. It is a female-founded startup on a mission to make behavioral research truly diverse and globally representative. 🌎
Here are the takeaways of her interview with Julia:
During her time in Graduate School at FSU, she realized that the science of humans primarily focuses on Americans, who do not reflect the global population. Her work at Yandex, a major tech firm in Russia, along with her experience at Toloka, a provider of crowdsourcing and generative AI services, motivated her and her co-founder, Tamila, to develop a comparable initiative in research.
At present, they utilize AI as a language tool for instant translations. Nevertheless, human participants are still an essential resource for gathering data on human behavior.
As a mompreneur, she cited that a woman can successfully juggle being a mother and pursuing a career simultaneously. It is entirely feasible to excel in both areas without compromising either role.
