Unpeel the Adventure! The wonderfully bizarre athletic event is about to drop: the 2026 Banana Ball World Tour. We've got the scoop on where the Savannah Bananas are swinging next. But before we dive into the yellow phenomenon, a quick heads-up: it's time to start planning for Thanksgiving (or maybe you’ve beaten us to it?). We know, we know—one minute you're enjoying Halloween candy, the next you're arguing about the appropriate ratio of sweet potatoes. Whether you're planning a feast or a friendsgiving, we've got a few restaurants that are open, open for pre-orders and take-outs, that won't require a four-hour commitment to a dry turkey. 🦃🍌

🍌 The Bananas Are Coming! Tallahassee Kicks Off 2026 World Tour. | Seminoles

  • The Savannah Bananas are bringing their fastest and most entertaining game of Banana Ball to Tallahassee. The first games of the Bananas' 2026 World Tour will be played in Dick Howser Stadium on February 26th and February 27th before the weekend's grand finale, a February 28th game inside the newly renovated Doak Campbell Stadium.

  • World Tour Facts: 183 shows, 75 stadiums, 71 cities, 45 states, 14 MLB stadiums, 10 football stadiums, and 3.2M fans. | Jesse Cole via LI

  • "I'm extremely excited that the Savannah Bananas are coming to Tallahassee," Florida State VP and Director of Athletics Michael Alford said. "This is significant because it will be the first non-football event in the refurbished Doak Campbell Stadium, putting one of America's top entertainment brands into one of the nation's most famous venues, but also bringing an elite product into Dick Howser Stadium, which has provided a platform for some of the best players and teams in college baseball history. We're thrilled to be chosen as the site of the Bananas' season opener and excited to bring a family-friendly event to Florida State and Tallahassee."

  • Sadly, the ticket window for these games has closed. Tickets were allocated through their ticket lottery, which ran until Oct. 31, 2025 only. Fans who registered for the lottery will be notified via email if they are selected to purchase tickets. If you missed the deadline, you can still visit their ticket information on future tours and sign up for the general mailing list so you don't miss the next opportunity!

🦃🫂 The Art of the Stress-Free Tally Thanksgiving | Tallahassee Foodies

Thanksgiving’s right around the corner, and Tallahassee’s gearing up for it. Everyone has their own way of celebrating—some book a fancy table for a stress-free feast, others grab takeout so they can have it at home. Then there are the deal hunters hitting local shops for their DIY dinners, and of course, the ones spending the day giving back through community events and volunteer work.

Restaurants Open and for Take-Out

  1. The Edison Restaurant: Offers upscale regional fare and a special Thanksgiving (TG) buffet with roasted turkey, glazed ham, and more. Ideal for those wanting to outsource the entire feast and enjoy it in-house rather than take-out.

  2. Coosh’s Bayou Rouge: Offers a fun twist on holiday meals; one of its specials is a “Thanksgiving Cookie Kit” for take-out.

  3. Big D BBQ: Open on TG from 11 AM to 2 PM, serving smoked turkeys, hams, boston butt, homemade sides: dressing, green beans, mac & cheese.

  4. Glory Days Grill: Showcasing a gobbler plate, or a pre-order option for a family of 4 for $79 or 8 for $139!

  5. Right on ‘Que: Want a leg up on your TG prep? They can help you out with their seasoned and brined turkey in your choice of smoked or fried–order by Nov. 22nd.

  6. Social Kitchen: TG pre-orders available at Kerry Forrest: meals for 8, ham, sides, desserts, breakfast, and grazing boards.

  7. The Fe-Nomenal Cooking Experience: Smoked turkey, sides, and desserts ready for pick-up–order by Nov. 20th.

  8. Willie Jewell’s Old School Bar-B-Que: Offering whole smoked turkeys and all the fixin’s, now available for TG pre-order in your very own home.

  9. Casa Tapas & Cantina: Celebrate TG with a cozy brunch on Nov. 23th, 10 AM to 3 PM–all-you-can-eat holiday classics and unlimited mimosas.

Don’t get SaaD. Get Rippling.

Remember when software made business simpler?

Today, the average company runs 100+ apps—each with its own logins, data, and headaches. HR can’t find employee info. IT fights security blind spots. Finance reconciles numbers instead of planning growth.

Our State of Software Sprawl report reveals the true cost of “Software as a Disservice” (SaaD)—and how much time, money, and sanity it’s draining from your teams.

The future of work is unified. Don’t get SaaD. Get Rippling.
