Florida State Women's Basketball sophomore guard Ta'Niya Latson was selected to the Naismith Trophy Player of the Year Midseason Team. | Seminoles
Ta'Niya Latson is one of 30 players nationally selected to the 2024 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy Player of the Year Midseason Team
She is on the Wooden Award Late Season 20, the Wade Trophy list as well as the Ann Meyers Drysdale Top 10 Finalist list.

Synapse Summit 2024 keynote presenter Lauren Weiner, founder and chief revenue officer of WWC Global, was highlighted in Tampa Bay Business and Wealth’s 2023 Tampa Bay Business Women Awards.
Lauren Weiner is the founder and former chief executive officer of WWC Global, a federally focused management consulting firm serving the U.S. Department of Defense, state agency for international development, Homeland Security, and other federal agencies.
Prior to WWC Global, Lauren worked at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in the Executive Office of the President.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Tampa Bay Wave, St. Joseph/Baptist BayCare Hospital System, and the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce.

VALKYRIES

All-girls LEGO Robotics Team from Tallahassee: “Valkyries”
Since August, Morgan Patterson and Lester Hutt have been co-coaching an all-girls LEGO Robotics team called the "Valkyries". The girls come from different schools, and the grades range from 5th - 8th.
Last weekend, they competed in the Northwest Florida Regional competition against 32 other robotics teams that had qualified for regionals.
They scored the second-highest score among all of the teams.
Their next stop is the State championship being held in Palm Beach, FL later this March.
They also took 2nd place overall across four different metrics: 1. The team's core values.2. A presentation of their research project about making art more accessible through technology.3. A presentation about the engineering and programming that went into their robot.4. Their performance during the robot games.
