Happy Groundhog Day! 🦦🌤️
Will Punxsutawney Phil see his shadow today? Americans eagerly await to see if Punxsutawney Phil, the weather-prognosticating groundhog, spots his shadow.
According to legend, if he does, we're in for six more weeks of winter. ❄️ If he doesn’t, it’s a forecast of an early spring.
In 2023, Phil predicted an extended winter.
The tradition started on Feb. 2, 1887, in the town where it's celebrated today, Gobbler’s Knob. | USAToday
