Florida State and coach Mike Norvell in negotiation for a new eight-year deal that will pay him more than $10 million per year. 🏈🫱🏻🫲🏼💵
Florida State announced it had agreed to terms with Norvell on “an enhanced contract,” but provided no terms. A person with direct knowledge of the deal told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the contract was not yet finalized.
Led the Seminoles (13-1) to an unbeaten regular season in 2023 before they were the first undefeated Power Five conference champion left out of the College Football Playoff.
In four seasons at Florida State, the 42-year-old Norvell is 31-17, including 23-4 the last two seasons.

Three Noles Selected in 2024 NWSL Draft 🥅⚽︎🏃🏻♀️
Former Florida State women's soccer players Leilanni Nesbeth, Lauren Flynn and Cristina Roque all were selected in the 2024 NWSL Draft.
Nesbeth kept the Seminoles' streak alive as FSU has now had a first round pick in three consecutive seasons.
Flynn ended her career with seven goals and three assists, five of those goals which came in 2023.
Roque ended her career with a terrific record in goal with 59 wins, six draws and just two losses. Roque ended her career as the school record holder in both wins and shutouts in the NCAA Tournament.
LOCAL DATA
SOTW

📊 Stat of the Week (SOTW): Average events tracked in the last 5 months by CityClips. You may have noticed that we often share events every weekday. As part of our process, we curate all the best business, tech, and lifestyle events and gather in a spreadsheet. We do our best to share as many every week, but as you can see on average Tallahassee is planning for around 60+ events every month. This does not include all the other non-relevant events publicly shared. For a secondary market, that is a lot. We hope this data is helpful for your event planning purposes.
September 2023: 29 events
October 2023: 44 events
November 2023: 46 events
December 2023: 105 events
January 2024: 70 events
