As promised, for Viral Fun Fridays we watched the CFP Playoff selection saga unfold. “FSU suing CFP” made it to Google Trends top 3rd searched in “sports” on Dec. 7th. If any good that has come out of this, major people made public support for FSU’s team from ESPN’s own commentators to former President Trump. Senator Rick Scott released a statement. And Gov. DeSantis proposed to set aside $1 million for FSU to sue CFP. We didn’t grab all of them, but find some links below.

This is (in our humble opinion) a PR disaster and mess for CFP and ESPN, which is why they’re trying to clean things up with talking points and saying it came down to the quarterback.
If you look at FSU’s performance in numbers compared to Texas and Alabama, things are just not adding up and the sentiment is that FSU’s team was wronged.

Another positive out of this saga, FSU Athletes began announcements to enter the transfer portal and Battle’s End Collective grows to over 2,000+ supporting members. Their recent announcement on WarchantTV includes 1 donor matching up to $500K in funds to support FSU athletes.
