Showcasing a seemingly endless supply of award-winning craft beers from all over, these gardens are a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
Lake Tribe Brewing: If sharing a campfire and telling stories with friends sounds like a good time, then this needs to be on your list. | Visit TLH
Try: Beckster’s Satsuma Wheat or Red Cloud IPA
Ology Brewing Co. (Powermill & Northside Locations): From sweet stouts and sour ales to traditional-style American IPAs and everything in between.
Try: Spa Goggles – a cucumber lime Gose

DEEP Brewing: The rotating taps are loaded with award-winning beers of every style imaginable.
Try: Nyctophile, which is a sweet milk stout with a depth of flavor

Try: Cascades Pale Ale. Amicus’ signature beer + namesake of the treasured park, the brewery and taproom sit adjacent to
Oyster City Brewing Co.: Known for its outdoor charm and welcoming atmosphere near the heart of College Town. This beer garden offers an authentic taste of North Florida’s brewing scene and is a must-visit for anyone exploring the city.
Try: Hooter Brown. A robust Ale made with local Tupelo honey harvested upriver at Owl Creek. Full-bodied and easy drinking, thanks to the rich honey and chocolate malts.

✈️🏖️ A Resort-Free Trip to St. Petersburg, Florida: St. Pete offers more than just beaches — it's rich in history, culture, pro sports, and more, making it a well-rounded destination beyond the shore. | Thrillist
🗓️ Day 1: Immersing in Culture and Waterfront Charm
Morning: The city’s art scene, especially in the Warehouse Arts District, is a must-see. For breakfast, check out Eat, Art, Love, changing menu by chef Mario Brugnoli, and grab a craft coffee at Sage’s Playground.
Midday: Next to Floridarama, try glass blowing at Zen Glass Studio and create your own souvenir. The owner, a former pro baseball player, now teaches the craft. End your day at Urban Stillhouse with comfort food, whiskey flights, or original cocktails.
Afternoon: The Dalí Museum in downtown St. Petersburg boasts the largest collection of the surrealist’s works. Along Central Ave., enjoy quirky spots like No Vacancy, Dirty Laundry, and Intermezzo for craft drinks. For a sunny beer, check out Green Bench Brewing or Ferg’s. Finish your crawl at Sparrow for Asian-inspired drinks, sushi, and stunning sunsets—book a patio seat for the best view.
Evening: The St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club, the largest and birthplace of shuffleboard, attracts a lively crowd, offering $10 play during open hours, while nearby Beach Ave. boasts restaurants with outdoor seating, including Juno & The Peacock for seafood and steaks, and Allelo for Mediterranean dishes; cap the night at Flute and Dram, a Champagne lounge and whiskey bar with live music, just a short walk away.
🗓️ Day 2: Nature, History, and Local Flavors
Morning: The revitalized St. Pete Pier is a city highlight, featuring pop-up pickleball courts (St. Pete Athletic). The Pier is also a home to a roller skating rink, a farmers market, and more. Enjoy live music and fresh-baked bread at Perry’s Porch at the pier’s base, but be ready for long waits—book ahead or sign up before exploring.
Midday: Clearwater and St. Pete offer perfect public beaches, with Pass-a-Grille being a personal favorite. Treasure Island is great for families, featuring a public waterslide. Don’t miss Frenchy’s Rockaway Grill in Clearwater, a funky beachside spot serving one of the best grouper sandwiches, embodying Florida’s laid-back vibe.
Afternoon: After Frenchy’s, head to Dunedin along the Pinellas Trail, a 60 mi greenway with breweries like Palm Harbor Brewing and Brighter Days for a refreshing stop. Rent bikes from local shops or Kafe Racer, then end your day at the historic Fenway Hotel’s patio bar for sunset views over the Gulf with a cocktail.
Evening: Dunedin blends Americana with beach vibes, featuring Black Pearl, an elegant spot with food and wine. For nightlife, head to St. Pete’s Grand Central District, where you can start with pinball at Right Around the Corner Arcade Bar, and enjoy a bar crawl in the lively neighborhood.
