The Tallahassee Democrat's 25 Women program began in 2006, with the Young Women category being introduced in 2014. The tradition of recognizing local women leaders has led to the creation of a nonprofit organization known as Club 25. This group, composed of former honorees, is dedicated to supporting others within the community.
So far this year, the Tallahassee Democrat has named 530 women from Tallahassee who have significantly contributed to the community's well-being.
