⚙️ FSU Launches AI@FSU to Embrace the Future of Artificial Intelligence. | FSU News
Florida State University (FSU) is making a significant move with the launch of its AI@FSU initiative, a comprehensive platform and website (ai.fsu.edu) designed to bring artificial intelligence into every corner of campus life. This initiative will enhance teaching, research, learning, and the overall campus experience, making AI tools more accessible and integrated into daily activities for students, faculty, and staff. 🌐
The website provides the latest AI-powered tools, including Microsoft Copilot, Adobe Firefly, and the Ruby Chatbot, giving the FSU community access to cutting-edge technology that helps foster creativity, streamline learning, and improve productivity. These tools will serve as a catalyst for innovation, encouraging everyone to explore AI in their work and studies.
Spearheaded by the Office of Digital Learning, Information Technology Services (ITS), and the Office of the Provost, the AI@FSU initiative aims to increase awareness about ongoing AI-related projects already in progress at FSU. 📢
FSU is committed to ensuring that AI tools are used effectively and responsibly, and this includes developing clear guidelines and best practices. Faculty and staff are collaborating to address issues like plagiarism and academic integrity while ensuring that students and instructors are equipped to use AI in ways that are ethical and aligned with FSU’s Academic Honor Policy. 📚
An exciting component of the initiative is the launch of generative AI focus groups, where students, faculty, and instructors can engage hands-on with the latest AI technologies. These focus groups aim to provide practical experience and explore how AI can shape the future of teaching, research, and creative work at FSU.

🤖 Florida Officials Experience the Future of Security with AITX’s RADDOG LE2. | AITX
Florida lawmakers and public safety officials experienced the cutting-edge RADDOG LE2, an AI-powered robotic dog, during a live demonstration at Tech Day at the Capitol in March 2025. The event highlighted how AI-driven automation is reshaping law enforcement and public safety operations.🚔
Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis took the robot for a test run through the halls of the Florida State Capitol, giving a hands-on view of its capabilities in real-world scenarios. The demo highlighted its potential to assist in patrols, threat assessments, and de-escalation strategies. 💼
Outfitted with advanced sensors, autonomous capabilities, and two-way communication, the high-tech canine enhances situational awareness and intelligence in various high-risk environments. The robotic dog is already being considered for use in search and rescue, perimeter security, and crisis response. 🦴
As interest grows among city, county, and federal leaders, AITX’s RAD is offering live demonstrations of RADDOG LE2 and other AI-driven security solutions, aimed at enhancing public safety while reducing operational costs for law enforcement agencies across the nation.
RADDOG LE2 will be on display at ISC West in Las Vegas, giving industry professionals the chance to experience firsthand how AI-powered automation is revolutionizing the future of security operations. 🔐
