LEMUR BABY BORN

😍 The newest ring-tailed lemur baby was born in the North Florida Wildlife Center. This photo of shell shocked mom is meme-worthy. | NFWCTally IG Post
Ring-tailed lemurs are endangered in the wild, facing threats from habitat destruction and hunting. Each birth is a vital step toward protecting the future of these incredible creatures. | NFWC
They made people decide what to name the baby. They don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl yet, but they’ve picked 3 beautiful Malagasy names to choose from with their meanings: Soa – beautiful, Aina – life, Zava – nature. 🌼🌿🌺
The polls closed a few days ago, and the winning name is Zava. 🐒
FYI: Are you an animal lover, looking to grow your career in this field, or know someone who’s a great fit for the role? Join their team at the wildlife center! 🌟 They’re now accepting volunteer/intern applications! If you’re ready to make a difference, work with incredible wildlife, and gain valuable experience, apply today! | IG Post
