🥳 Tallahassee Foodies has just reached an amazing milestone of 100K members! | Tallahassee Foodies
The Tallahassee Foodies Facebook Group that was created to stay connected with lunch buddies has grown and hit 100K members – which is almost half of Tallahassee’s population.
The FB Group is a vibrant community of local food enthusiasts who are all about sharing positive recommendations.
To mark this accomplishment, they recently hosted a city-wide celebration called “Cheers to 100K Members,” where every participating establishment offered a complimentary drink. 🥂

Through a $50K grant from the Knight Foundation via the Community Foundation of North Florida with $25K in matching funds provided by the City of Tallahassee Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), the CRA and the Council on Culture & Arts (COCA) are collaborating to provide select commercial property owners the opportunity to remove or prevent graffiti issues on the exterior of their buildings by way of custom public art murals. | Tallahassee Downtown IG Post
This funding will support three properties in the Greater Frenchtown/Southside CRA district and three sites in the Downtown CRA district.

In partnership with the Tallahassee Talent Development Council, Tallahassee State College (TSC) will host the inaugural WOW 2.0 hiring fair.
What is WOW 2.0? It is an event connecting local employers with high school seniors interested in entering the workforce full-time following graduation, working part-time while attending college, or enrolling in an apprenticeship program with a regional company. Students will interview with four companies and receive a contingent job offer or an opportunity to explore other options. Employers, students and their families will celebrate successful matches during Signing Day on May 8th.
When and Where? Tuesday, April 8th, high school seniors will discover local career opportunities, interact with employers, and participate in interviews for jobs, internships, and apprenticeships. It will take place in TSC, Workforce Development Building, Room 105.
📋 Employers Must:
Have at least five full-time, entry-level positions with benefits for candidates aged 18+.
Attend training on March 25, 8:30–9:30 AM at TSC.
Provide at least two interviewers for onsite interviews at the event.
Assist with follow-up steps such as second interviews or required screenings.
The deadline to register is Friday, March 21st.
