🦾 PS27 Announces Bluewave’s Support for Veterans. | PS27 Ventures via LI
PS27 is excited to announce Bluewave Technologies, Inc. as part of their portfolio, actively supporting Veterans with combat injuries, disease-related wounds, and amputations.
A graduate of the UF Innovate | Accelerate program, Bluewave continues to develop practical solutions to improve the lives of Veterans and patients across the nation. They are already making a big impact in orthotic and prosthetic clinics and are now expanding into orthopedics, physical therapy, and sports medicine. 💊
The BLUEWAVE device is a game-changer—it uses ozone infusion technology to deodorize and disinfect items in just 5 minutes, without the use of water, chemicals, or detergents. It’s safe to use anywhere, making it perfect for Veterans to care for their medical devices at home.
PS27 is proud to support Bluewave Technologies as they work to improve the quality of life for Veterans and patients, showing what’s possible when technology is used for good.

ENGINEERING TOMORROW

🚀 FAMU/FSU College of Engineering's Vision for Innovation. | 850 Magazine
The FAMU/FSU College of Engineering (COE) is unique, being the only shared engineering college in the U.S. The partnership, mandated by the Florida Legislature in 1982, combines the historically black university with the Research-1 institution, offering a collaborative environment for students.
COE students have access to world-class research facilities like the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory and the High-Performance Materials Institute, allowing them to gain hands-on experience in advanced fields such as magnets, cryogenics, and superconductivity, which are not commonly available at other institutions. 🏢
The college offers specialized engineering programs such as mechanical, chemical, and biomedical engineering, with opportunities for cross-training in fields like aeronautics and magnetic/materials science. These programs give students a broad understanding of complex, real-world applications that impact daily life.
Entrepreneurship and innovation are central to the COE’s mission. In partnership with the Jim Moran College of Entrepreneurship, the COE promotes a culture of innovation, providing opportunities for students to commercialize inventions, pitch new technologies, and even patent their ideas.
The COE is leading the way in research and development. With major projects like electric ships, quantum engineering, and next-generation technologies supported by $10M in funding from the National Science Foundation, the college is making important strides in shaping the future of engineering.
