🏦 The Florida SBDC Network is organizing the Florida Small Business Day at the Capitol event. | Florida SBDC
The event will showcase a network of small business clients, stakeholders, and community partners. It aims to highlight the vital role small businesses play in Florida’s economy and provide an opportunity for business owners to share their insights and experiences while featuring products and services to the legislative officials.
The Florida SBDC Network will offer tours of its mobile assistance center, which is deployed following disasters to provide on-site assistance to business owners.
The event will take place on March 26th at the Florida State Capitol. 🤝

TAX CREDIT PROGRAM

🧾 Tax credit allocation via the Strong Families Tax Credit Program. | Tallahassee Chamber
The Strong Families Tax Credit Program was launched in 2021 to assist qualifying charitable organizations dedicated to enhancing child welfare and well-being. 🥰
Through this program, taxpayers have the opportunity to donate money to a specified charitable organization and earn a dollar-for-dollar tax credit against the following Florida taxes:
corporate income tax
excise tax on liquor, wine, and malt beverages
gas and oil production tax
insurance premium tax
use tax due under a direct pay permit
The Florida Department of Children and Families designates the charitable organizations eligible to receive support under the program.
Taxpayers who wish to participate must apply to the Department of Revenue for an allocation of tax credit. 📝 | Learn More
