🍃🌿 Lake Jackson Mounds Archaeological State Park: Ancient Native American temple mounds stand proud just north of Tallahassee. | Florida State Parks

📍Location: 3600 Indian Mounds Road.
Fees: $3 per vehicle. Please use an honor box. Correct change is required.
Hours: 8 AM to sundown, 365 days a year.
The park features 2 trails that provide visitors with an opportunity to hike and explore. The interpretive trail takes you past remnants from Florida’s Territorial Period and early statehood (1820-1860), when the land was part of a large estate owned by Colonel Robert Butler.
“The park is a guardian of the Southeastern Ceremonial Complex, showcasing mounds and artifacts from Mississippian culture, providing insights into one of Florida's ancient civilizations. Take a leisurely stroll, keeping your footsteps light to avoid startling the local fauna, and each visit promises a fresh encounter with nature,” Brooke Doran, Park Manager said.
🧺 Amenities: Picnic tables offer views of the 2 largest mounds, and a pavilion for events on a first-come, first-served basis unless reserved. Guided tours are available upon request.

A solid-state battery is a battery that uses solid electrolytes instead of liquid electrolytes.
Solid-state batteries are safer than conventional lithium-ion batteries, as their solid electrolytes significantly reduce the risk of fire from overheating or damage. This makes them ideal for safety-critical applications like wearable electronics.
