In our last edition, we talked about Back-2-School shopping. Unfortunately, some in our community cannot afford school supplies. However here is some good news, the Tallahassee Police Department hosted their 5th Annual Back to School Drive to give to kids. WTXL

While some are getting ready to go back to school. There are others finishing up. Right before the first week of school, you can expect some out of town folks (aka College Town traffic) attending FSU & FAMU summer graduations happening this weekend. Congrats to Class of 2023! Tal Dem

There is no confirmation but rather speculation that FSU is considering breaking off the ACC. Chris Graham of Augusta Free Press saw an article in the Tallahassee Democrat regarding a scheduled meeting for Florida Trustees. For the local sports fanatics, is this a good thing? Since then, within the last 24 hours there were over 20+ articles published about FSU’s President and the Trustees seriously considering it due to disagreements on revenue structure.

A family won a case against a Floridian franchise owner of McDonald’s due to multiple burns when a nugget fell directly onto a 4-year old child's skin costing high medical bills for treatment. Fox Business
