Wanda Harding is one of the “Teacher of the Year” finalists at Atlanta Public School Awards Gala. | X
Wanda is the Mathematics Department Chair and Algebra Teacher at Carver Early College High School. Her knowledge in math and science gives a huge impact in her career as an educator and Atlanta Public School (APS) saw her ability and became an awardee at their Awards Gala. She was named Teacher of the Year, Atlanta Public Schools High School Teacher of the Year, and was a finalist for the APS-wide Teacher of the Year.
Wanda spent more than 20 years working in the aerospace sector with NASA and NOAA before transitioning to a teaching career. One of her notable achievements was serving as a Senior Mission Manager in the Launch Services Program at NASA/Kennedy Space Center, where she played a key role in the launch of the Mars Science Laboratory mission with the Mars Curiosity rover. | Read her bio here

Making Miracles recently opened their second home to help mothers with children up to 10 years old. They currently accept applications for those unhouse mothers that need a safe place with their child.
One of their missions is to reduce homelessness and poverty in the community while offering valuable education to mothers. This helps them make better choices and create a brighter future for their children.
