Equipped with cutting-edge technology like lidar for navigation and autonomous movement, Tape Measure can balance and move independently, allowing for various interactive tasks and research opportunities. 📝
UCF students are utilizing Tape Measure to explore robot-human interactions and expand its functionality, testing new applications that contribute to robotics research.
Tape Measure even joined UCF’s cheering squad during a football match, interacting with students and adding excitement to the school spirit while showing its potential for public engagement and creative uses in robotics.

TallyRobotics is in need of judges and referees for Leon County FIRST LEGO League Qualifier happening this weekend.
TallyRobotics is actively seeking volunteers to serve as judges and referees for their upcoming competition. Parents typically cannot fill these roles, so they encourage other community members to step up and support this exciting event!
To volunteer, log in to your FIRST account at www.firstinspires.org. From your dashboard, go to the "Volunteer" tab, select the event registration tab, and filter for FLL, Florida, November 2024. Look for the Leon Qualifier, review available roles, and click "apply."
If you'd like additional information about a specific position, you can email Laura Leonard at [email protected], and she will help you find a role that suits you.
