We took the opportunity to tour Domi right before Women Wednesday’s weekly office hours session. Some of our new summer interns had a chance to see the coworking space for the first time. While Tallahassee during summertime becomes somewhat of a ghost town, the pace does not slow down for business owners… especially for women and mompreneurs.

Women supporting each other to find success in a tech-driven society. 👩🏻💻 | WFTS
Raechel Canipe started Women in Tech and Entrepreneurship (WTE) with a very small group. The goal was to unite women to support each other and network around Tampa.
To date, there are chapters across the state with more than 3000 women. About half are working in the tech industry. The other half are entrepreneurs who started their own businesses or plan to.
Amy Crosby had retired after 20 years in Silicon Valley and joined the group to mentor others. Together, they built Profferfish, a tech platform connecting high school students with the community to earn volunteer hours for Bright Future scholarships. It is working to go statewide. Meanwhile, Women in Tech has its sights set on going national.
