Sports ETA released their 2023 “State of the Industry” Report for the $128 Billion Sport Tourism Industry.
It’s also the first time they revealed the Top 10 U.S. states with the highest economic impact generated by sports tourism in 2023.

That's more than $5 billion in sales, according to new data from Chain Store Guide, which tracks the retail and food service industries. Walmart remains a solid second with 25% of the share, or $2 billion in sales.
The intrigue: Sprouts rejoined the rankings this year, surpassing Dollar General, Save-A-Lot and Aldi. BJ's Wholesale Club, which ranked above Dollar General last year, fell behind in the rankings.

The Hottest Job Markets in the U.S. The Journal, working with Moody’s Analytics, assessed about 380 metro areas. 📢💼 | The Wall Street Journal
Salt Lake City was the country’s hottest job market in 2023, followed by three cities in Florida: Jacksonville, Orlando and Tampa. Miami also made the top 10, making Florida the top state last year.
The rankings determined the strongest labor markets based on five factors: the unemployment rate, the labor-force participation rate, changes to employment levels, the size of the labor force and wages.
The Mountain West and Sunbelt cities bucked the trend in a year marked by layoffs in the technology, manufacturing and financial sectors. Workers flocked to these areas for their plentiful job opportunities, wage growth, affordability and recreational offerings.
Recently, CNBC published an article that Tallahassee ranks among the top 10 metro areas in the country for fastest-growing job markets for young professionals. #1 in the state and #2 in the country. We look forward to resharing this in more depth.
