SPACE COAST HACKATHON

The Space Coast Hard Tech Hackathon is a two-day event for hardcore hackers interested in building the future of hardware, aerospace, manufacturing and defense. Hosted at Florida Tech's Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Innovative Design. This will help make Florida the hub for innovative aerospace and defense startups! | LI
Spencer Macdonald, Founder of Stealth Startup, announced the Space Coast Hard Tech Hackathon, to be held on May 18th to 19th at the Florida Tech Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Innovative Design. A prizepool of $5k will be rewarded, $3k for 1st place and $2k for 2nd place.
To solve challenges in these new domains, they need sharp engineers building solutions from all disciplines, to include software, hardware, and mechanical engineering. Cape Canaveral/Space Coast, FL is one area key to our nation's defense, but until now has lacked a vibrant tech startup ecosystem.
If you're an engineer looking to build solutions in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing, you should come participate. If you're a DOD member interested in engaging with the next generation of talent and startups solving underserved problems, you should come as well! Signup link is here.

FEATURED PARTNER

From Battalion to Battle Lion. The story of Tallahassee is filled with historic moments. The club pays honor to the past and the men and women who served their country. 🫡🎖️
In Honor of Dale Mabry Airfield, Club Founder and President Chris Petley wanted something to unify all Tallahasseeans, something that would truly embody the entire city and the love they have for it. He kept coming back to Dale Mabry Airfield, a World War II-era U.S. Army base.
With an eye on this unique turning point for the city, Petley kept playing with the term ‘battalion’ and eventually settled on the Battle Lion as their team’s mascot. That’s what you see on their logo, but that is not the end of the story. | Learn More
