The 10th year of Word of South kicked off with puffy robots and balloons, in a joyful sing-along style, as The Flaming Lips rocked the stage with all the songs from "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots" and more to an enchanted crowd, swaying as one to "Do You Realize?"
The Word of South festival of literature and music continued all weekend. Saturday's events included Daniel Bedrosian, George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars, and Rising Appalachia.

A golden retriever puppy in Florida was born with an unexpected lucky fur coat. 💚🐶 | USA Today
Shamrock, the green golden retriever puppy, is taking the internet by storm after the breeders who raised her posted a video on TikTok which has now gone viral with 8.4 million views, 708.6K likes, and 2K+ comments.
She was born smaller than her pup siblings, and instead of having the same cream-colored coat that goldens have, hers was green.
She's feisty, fun and certainly thinks she's a princess, Carole DeBruler, the co-owner and dog breeder at Golden Treasures Kennel based in Pensacola, Florida, told USA Today.
