FUNDING

MENTAL + EMOTIONAL SUPPORT

WomensNet funds several women’s business grants throughout the year worth $435,000! They’ve found that some business categories are under-represented in winning grant money. For the month of May, they welcome applicants who fall under the Mental and Emotional Support Business and Organizations industry to apply for a $10,000 Business Category Grant.

  • Every woman entrepreneur who fills out her application is eligible for the $10,000 Amber Grant (for the month in which the application is submitted). But they have an additional $10,000 Business Category grant winner every month, too. | Apply

  • Women make up 70% of all therapists in the U.S., providing crucial help to people when emotional support, time management and work-life balance become challenging. Women in the field of mental and emotional support sometimes need financial help or even grants to expand their services, or stabilize their current business.

  • During May, a grant specific to women in the mental and emotional support industry will be given. | Learn More

  • All eyes are on the Dream team after they made the playoffs last season for the first time in five years. The upcoming season begins on May 14th.

  • Dream President and COO Morgan Shaw Parker said in a statement that excitement around women's sports, particularly basketball, is at an all-time high, and "nowhere is that felt more than in Atlanta."

  • Single tickets for all remaining games are on sale here. Note: They are only allowing Southeast residents from GA, FL, TN, AL, SC and NC for pre-sale tickets.
