The MagLab hosts more than 1,800 scientists every year from around the world who come to use their world-record instruments to make discoveries on new materials, energy solutions, diseases, and the environment.

MICRO-INTERNSHIPS

Get free project support and give students professional experience. 👨🏻💻 All associated costs, including payments of up to $300 to each Micro-Intern, will be funded by the Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation and processed by Parker Dewey. | Frederick A. DeLuca Foundation

Through this program, employers can get on-demand support on projects, build relationships with potential hires, and give back by providing professional opportunities to students.
This is a limited-time offer! All Micro-Internships must be posted and a student selected by no later than March 31, 2024 in order to be funded by this program.

Tallahassee, capital region economy could get $200 million boost from state budget. 💰 There’s $201 million in state spending for Senate District 3, which includes Tallahassee, Leon County and 12 rural, sparsely populated counties, taking in much of the Big Bend. | Tallahassee Democrat
Here's a list of items in next year’s state budget for Tallahassee (Total of $83,731,657):
$750,000 - Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare Trauma Center Readiness
$401,400 - Well tanks security cameras
$1,530,257 - Renovations at Florida Department of Law Enforcement Capital Circle complex and restrooms at the J. Edwin Larson and Duncan U. Fletcher buildings
$350,000 - Apalachee Ridge Neighborhood Technology Center
$200,000 - Independence Landing: RedEye Coffee Workforce training
$500,000 - Independence Landing: Workforce Development for Persons with Disabilities
$80,000,000 - Conner Complex Center construction
