As a Filipino-American and one of the most accomplished women in tech, Marcelo will share her journey of building Care.com into a $500 million company and creating her new venture Ohai.ai, a platform leveraging AI to revolutionize the approach to caregiving and improve the lives of families.
Marcelo is one of fewer than 30 women ever to lead a startup company to an IPO.

Florida Commits $25M to Tech Career Education. The funding will benefit students at high schools in 15 Florida districts, and at three colleges. | GovTech
It will pay for training in emerging fields like enterprise cloud computing and mobile applications development, as well as traditional vocations.
Florida high school students will have access to career training in cybersecurity, robotics, manufacturing technology, and computer programming under a $25 million state expenditure.
The incentive is part of a broader $100 million program that also provides $35 million to grow the Sunshine State’s semiconductor industry.

Robots are classified by weight with robots weighing as little as 250 grams all the way up to 3 lb. monsters.
